Our luxury coffee tables are hand-carved in our Ankara workshop, Turkiye, on properly seasoned beech frames, finished with a hand-applied, multi-coat finish, and fitted with sealed marble, beveled glass, or mirrored panels. What Makes Our Coffee Tables Luxury
- Properly seasoned solid frame. Solid European hardwood (beech and hornbeam) -- the traditional hardwoods of Turkish luxury furniture. Where engineered panels are needed, we use only premium-grade MDF, never cheap pressed-board.
- a hand-applied finish. a hand-applied, multi-coat finish built to last. Hand-rubbed wood, ebonized hardwood, and gilt finishes available.
- Sealed marble or beveled glass tops. Marble is sealed for stain resistance. Glass is tempered, beveled, or fluted depending on style. Mirrored panels are silver-backed.
- Hand-applied gold leaf accents on classical and French-style designs.
- Hand-carved, not cast. Real woodwork by master artisans in Ankara. Most carved coffee tables sold in the US are molded plastic -- ours are not.
- Stable proportions. Standard heights coordinate with sofa cushion lines (16-18 inches), with coordinating side tables available.

About Our Workshop
Ali Guler Furniture is a third-generation Turkish luxury furniture maker, founded in Ankara in 1972. Our workshop has operated continuously for over fifty years. We are the only US-based manufacturer of luxury hand-carved Turkish furniture for residential homes, presented at our Houston showroom, opened in 2024.

What materials are used in your coffee tables?
Hand-carved solid hardwood and beech frames, a hand-applied, multi-coat finish, hand-applied gold leaf or silver leaf accents on classical designs, sealed marble (Carrara, Calacatta, Emperador) or tempered beveled glass tops. All hardwood -- no molded plastic casting on carved details.
Are the marble tops sealed?
Yes. All marble surfaces are sealed for stain resistance. We recommend coasters under beverages and prompt cleanup of spills to maintain the finish.
Do you offer matching side tables?
Many of our coffee table designs have coordinating side tables, available in matching finishes and proportions. Browse the side tables collection or ask our showroom team for recommendations.
What styles do you carry?
Carved Classical (with gilt), Mirrored Glass, Marble-Top, Curved French-Style with cabriole legs, and Modern Round Pedestal. Each style is hand-carved -- never molded plastic -- so the carved details have the depth and durability of real luxury European coffee tables.
Can I customize a coffee table?

Where can I see your coffee tables in person?
Our Houston showroom at 3226 Hillcroft St opened in 2024 and displays a rotating selection of luxury coffee tables and living-room collections. For families outside Houston we routinely conduct walk-throughs by FaceTime or video call.
What size coffee table works with a large sofa or sectional?
As a guide, a coffee table is often about two-thirds the length of the sofa and set 14 to 18 inches away. For a sectional, a larger square or round shape balances the seating. Each piece is made to order, so we can size it to your room.
