- Properly seasoned solid frame. Solid European hardwood (beech and hornbeam) -- the traditional hardwoods of Turkish luxury furniture, properly seasoned to stabilize moisture before joinery. Reinforced dowel construction supports up to 300 lbs.

- Premium-grade upholstery. Top-grain leather, performance velvet, chenille, and stain-resistant fabrics from premier Turkish textile mills. Long-wear-tested, family-friendly.
- 35-density (35 HR) dense, resilient foam -- contoured for seat and lumbar support. Doesn't compress, doesn't sag, doesn't deform.
- Hand-carved, not cast. Real woodwork by master artisans in Ankara. Most carved European-style dining chairs sold in the US are molded plastic painted to imitate woodwork. Ours are not.
- German hardware where used -- soft-close drawer slides on host chairs with storage features. Lifetime-cycle rated.

About Our Workshop
Ali Guler Furniture is a third-generation Turkish luxury furniture maker, founded in Ankara in 1972. Our workshop has operated continuously for over fifty years, with the second and third generations of the Guler family on the floor today. We are the only US-based manufacturer of luxury hand-carved Turkish furniture for residential homes. Every dining chair is made in our own atelier and presented at our Houston showroom, opened in 2024.

Most dining chairs are sold individually or in sets of 2. Many product pages offer set options of 4 or 6 at a better per-chair price. For larger formal dining tables, we typically recommend two arm-equipped host chairs at the table ends with matching armless side chairs along the sides.

Yes. Dining chairs can be ordered on their own or as a set, in any quantity, with your choice of fabric and finish on commission -- so they coordinate with a table you already own or one from the same collection.
