What Makes Our European Furniture Luxury
- Properly seasoned solid frame. Solid European hardwood (beech and hornbeam) -- the traditional hardwoods of European luxury furniture, properly seasoned to stabilize moisture before joinery. Where engineered panels are needed, we use only premium-grade MDF, never cheap pressed-board.
- a hand-applied finish. a hand-applied, multi-coat finish built to last. Hand-rubbed wood, ebonized hardwood, ivory-and-gold, and gilt finishes available across the collection.
- German hardware. soft-close drawer slides and hinges throughout. Lifetime-cycle rated.
- Hand-applied gold leaf and silver leaf accents on classical and French-style designs. Crystal hardware where appropriate.
- Premium European-grade upholstery. Velvets, silks, top-grain leather, and performance fabrics from premier Turkish textile mills.
- Hand-carved, not cast. Real woodwork by master artisans in Ankara. Most "European-style" furniture sold in the US is molded plastic painted to imitate woodwork. Ours is not.

Ali Guler Furniture is a third-generation Turkish luxury furniture maker, founded in Ankara in 1972. Our workshop has operated continuously for over fifty years. We are the only US-based manufacturer of luxury hand-carved European-style furniture for residential homes, presented at our Houston showroom, opened in 2024.

For clients outside Houston we routinely conduct walk-throughs by FaceTime or video call.
