Our luxury side tables and end tables are hand-carved in our Ankara workshop on kiln-dried beechwood frames, finished with Italian lacquer technique using AkzoNobel coatings. Classical, modern, contemporary, and bespoke European designs -- the right end table next to the right sofa is the difference between a finished living room and a half-furnished one.
What Makes Our Side Tables Premium
- Kiln-dried solid frame. Hornbeam (gurgen) and beechwood (kayin) -- the traditional hardwoods of Turkish luxury furniture. Where engineered panels are needed, we use only premium-grade MDF, never particleboard.
- Italian lacquer finish. AkzoNobel coatings -- the most durable architectural finish on the market. Hand-rubbed wood, ebonized hardwood, and gilt finishes available.
- Sealed marble or beveled glass tops. Marble is sealed for stain resistance. Glass is tempered, beveled, or fluted depending on style.
- Hand-applied gold leaf accents on classical and French-style designs.
- Hand-carved, not cast. Real woodwork by master artisans in Ankara. Most carved end tables sold in the US are polyurethane mold-cast -- ours are not.
- Coordinated proportions. Standard heights match sofa arm heights (24-26 inches). Coordinating coffee tables available in matching finishes.

About Our Workshop
Ali Guler Furniture is a third-generation Turkish luxury furniture maker, founded in Ankara in 1972. Our workshop has operated continuously for over fifty years. We are the only US-based manufacturer of luxury hand-carved Turkish furniture for residential homes, presented at our Houston showroom, opened in 2024. We ship internationally on commission for clients in Europe and the United Kingdom.

What is the typical height of your side tables?
Most side tables are 24-26 inches tall, sized to match standard sofa arm heights so glasses and books rest at a natural reach. Round drum models from 22-28 inches tall. Custom heights available on commission.
What materials do you offer?
Hand-carved solid hornbeam and beechwood frames, Italian lacquer finish with AkzoNobel coatings, hand-applied gold leaf or silver leaf accents on classical designs, sealed marble (Carrara, Calacatta, Emperador) or tempered beveled glass tops.
